Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where you will be welcomed by your private chauffeur-guide.
Travel to Sigiriya in Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. The journey takes approximately four hours, depending on traffic and refreshment stops.
Check in at the hotel and relax before the evening excursion.
In the late afternoon, visit the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated historical attractions.
King Kashyapa developed this spectacular rock citadel during the fifth century CE. The site features landscaped water gardens, ancient frescoes, the Mirror Wall and the enormous Lion Paws that once formed the entrance to the summit.
Those who complete the climb will see the remains of the royal palace and enjoy panoramic views across forests, lakes, villages and distant mountains.
Travellers who prefer not to climb to the summit may explore the water gardens, museum and lower sections of the archaeological site.
Overnight stay in Sigiriya
After breakfast, visit the Dambulla Royal Cave Temple.
Dambulla is Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave-temple complex and forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The five principal caves contain more than 150 statues of Lord Buddha, Sri Lankan kings and Hindu deities. Their ceilings and walls are covered with intricate religious paintings created and restored over many centuries.
The temple stands on an elevated rock, reached by climbing a series of steps. Visitors should wear modest clothing covering their shoulders and knees and remove footwear before entering the caves.
Continue towards Kandy and visit a spice and herbal garden in the Matale region.
Learn how cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, aloe vera and other tropical plants are cultivated and traditionally used in Sri Lankan cuisine and Ayurveda.
The guided garden visit is educational. Purchasing herbal preparations or other products is entirely optional.
Continue to Kandy and check in at the hotel.
Spend the evening relaxing or take a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake.

After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya.
The gardens contain more than 4,000 plant species, including orchids, palms, giant bamboo, medicinal plants, spice trees and flowering collections from different parts of the world.
Originally associated with the Kandyan royal court and later developed as a botanical garden, Peradeniya is considered one of Asia’s finest tropical gardens.
Highlights include the Avenue of Royal Palms, the Orchid House, the Cannonball Tree, the giant Javan fig and the riverside lawns beside the Mahaweli River.
Explore Kandy, Sri Lanka’s last royal capital and the cultural heart of the island.

You may also attend a Kandyan cultural performance featuring traditional dancing, drumming and fire-walking.
In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist shrine.
The temple houses a sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. For centuries, possession of the relic symbolised the authority to rule Sri Lanka, giving the temple great religious and historical importance.
Join devotees during the evening pooja, when traditional drumming accompanies the religious ceremony. The sacred relic itself remains inside a series of golden caskets and is not normally displayed directly.
Visitors should dress modestly and remove their footwear before entering.

After breakfast, leave Kandy and travel into Sri Lanka’s beautiful Central Highlands.
The road climbs through mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations.
Stop near Ramboda Falls, one of the most attractive waterfalls along the Kandy–Nuwara Eliya route.
The cascading water and surrounding tea-covered mountains provide an excellent location for photographs and a refreshment break.
Visit a working tea plantation and factory to learn how world-famous Ceylon Tea is produced.
Walk among the tea bushes and learn how skilled tea pluckers select the finest leaves. Inside the factory, observe the stages of withering, rolling, fermentation, drying and grading.
Complete the experience with a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon Tea while overlooking the surrounding plantations.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, situated approximately 1,800 metres above sea level.
The city’s cool climate, landscaped gardens, colonial-era buildings and old cottages earned it the nickname “Little England.”

Spend time walking beside Gregory Lake. Optional activities such as paddle boating, horse riding and cycling may be available, depending on weather and local operating conditions.

Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya
After an early breakfast, travel to Ella for a full-day excursion.
Depending on availability, part of the journey may be completed by train from Nanu Oya to Ella. This scenic railway passes through tea estates, forests, mountain valleys, tunnels and small colonial-era stations. Train tickets remain subject to availability.
Visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, one of Sri Lanka’s most photographed railway landmarks.
Constructed during the British colonial period using stone and brick, the bridge rises above a green valley surrounded by forest and tea plantations. If the timing is favourable, watch a train slowly cross the bridge.
Reaching the viewpoint involves a walk along an uneven pathway.
Experience the Skywalk near Little Adam’s Peak. Suspended high above the surrounding landscape, the walkway provides views across Ella’s green valleys and mountain scenery.
Participation is optional and subject to weather and the operator’s safety requirements.
Adventure seekers may experience the dual-line Flying Ravana Mega Zipline, extending for more than 500 metres over the tea-covered hills.
Participants can travel side by side and reach speeds of up to approximately 80 kilometres per hour. The zipline is optional and subject to age, weight, health and weather restrictions.
Continue to Little Adam’s Peak, one of Ella’s most accessible viewpoints.
The hike passes through tea plantations before reaching panoramic viewpoints overlooking Ella Gap and the surrounding mountains. Travellers who do not wish to complete the climb can enjoy the lower viewpoints and nearby cafés.
Stop at the Giant Swing for a memorable photograph or video against Ella’s mountain scenery.
After completing the activities, return to Nuwara Eliya by private vehicle.
This is a long but rewarding excursion. An overnight stay in Ella can be arranged instead for travellers who prefer a more relaxed itinerary.
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, leave the highlands and travel towards Sri Lanka’s southwestern coast.
Stop at a viewpoint overlooking St. Clair’s Falls, popularly known as the “Little Niagara of Sri Lanka.”
The broad waterfall flows through a beautiful valley surrounded by green tea estates.
Continue to Devon Falls, sometimes called the “Veil of the Valley” because of its graceful appearance.
The viewpoint provides an opportunity for photographs and refreshments before continuing towards the coast.
Arrive in Bentota and check in at the beach hotel.
Spend the evening relaxing beside the Indian Ocean. Depending on the weather, enjoy a sunset walk, swim in the sea or relax beside the hotel pool.

After breakfast, begin a full-day excursion along Sri Lanka’s southern coast.
Enjoy a relaxing boat ride through the Madu River wetlands, one of the most important coastal ecosystems in southern Sri Lanka.
Cruise between mangrove forests, small islands and traditional cinnamon-growing communities while observing birds, water monitors and other wildlife.
The experience may include a stop at a small island, depending on the selected route and water conditions.
Visit a sea turtle conservation project in Kosgoda and learn about the marine turtles found around Sri Lanka.
The project protects eggs and hatchlings while educating visitors about threats such as plastic pollution, fishing nets and the destruction of nesting beaches. Some centres also care for injured turtles that cannot immediately return to the ocean.
Continue to Galle and explore its historic fortified city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The fort was originally established by the Portuguese and extensively developed by the Dutch during the seventeenth century. Its narrow streets, ramparts, churches, museums and colonial houses reflect several centuries of Sri Lankan and European history.

After breakfast, travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital.
Check in at the hotel before beginning a guided city tour.
Discover the city’s combination of colonial heritage, religious monuments, modern towers and busy commercial districts.

Enjoy free time for shopping at One Galle Face, Colombo City Centre, Havelock City Mall, Odel or selected local shops.

After breakfast, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight.
